Description
District Child Club Networks, Bhojpur, is all set to paste child labour free stickers in various lodges and hotels of the district with the aim of curbing child labour. The network will paste the stickers in all hotels and lodges of the district by June 12. Chairman of the network Laxman Chauhan said a decision to this effect was taken at a meeting held in coordination with hotel entrepreneurs yesterday. “Our aim is to make all hotels and lodges of the district child labour free,” he added. The network has also planned to organise an interaction and discussion programme on the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour. Lawmakers, police personnel, representatives of women and children’s office and Chamber of Commerce and Industry are expected to participate in the interaction. The meeting also decided to form a child club in each school of the district within six months in coordination with the District Education Office, school resource centre and local schools. A version of this article appears in print on June 06, 2016 of The Himalayan Times.
